Hewlett Packard Singapore

Hewlett Packard has run operations in Singapore for many years. In 2017, HP moved
into new premises close to their old location. ChangeWorq was appointed to develop
a workplace strategy, and change management programme for the new building.

The new facility houses manufacturing, development and commercial teams and the strategy
was matched to the wide variation in working styles and functional needs of the diverse teams.

Detailed analysis showed the need to rebalance the sizes and numbers of meeting rooms. 
The Singapore team has Asia Pacific & Japan responsibilities as well as supporting the local
Singapore market and there are many virtual meetings taking place every day.

Our process also highlighted actions to improve team connections - both inter and intra team
and the space was divided into convenient team neighbourhoods with informal and refreshment
space linking them.

The model has since been implemented by ChangeWorq in other HP locations across Asia.
